Nintendo Removes Recently Appeared Super Mario 64 Guide Files

We get a message related to one of the most beloved franchises by nintenderos. It is indeed about Super Mario, specifically Super Mario 64.

As we have learned, the game guide files that appeared online a few days ago have been removed by Nintendo after a copyright claim. This has been confirmed by Comfort Food Video Games, who are the ones who brought these images to light:

Unfortunately, archive.org sent me their usual takedown notice email telling me that Nintendo of America disputed the copyright of the scan and they were removed. Frankly, I’d love to question the legitimacy of that and how Nintendo of America would have anything to do with a Nintendo of Japan-licensed Gem Books guide from 1995, but I really can’t fight the Nintendo legal team. It’s incredibly disappointing.
